St. Patty's Day
Hey Bloggers, sorry I haven't been posting lately. I've had problems with accessing the blog lately (:-( ) well, here's my blog post- St. Paddy's Day....
Morning bloggers. How are we doing on this lovely Sunday morning? Still recovering from yesterday's partying? I wish I could but I have Church now plus some consulting work after lunch. (No rest for the adorably wicked. ;-p )
Anyways, just wanted to give you a recap of my fun from last night. It was another lovely evening at Bookends with little sister, Lexie. And we met up with some friends to celebrate the holiday in the traditional way of drinking. One of our guy friends, Michael, decided to be extremely festive with his green beer (yuck!) while the females in our group had Fruit Loops (which actually taste like the cereal).
Anyways, after Lexie bailed on me (boo), I proceeded to finish up my drinking with a shot with my friend, Lucy. And who should I say across the bar playing pool? Devon Stone, that's who!
He doesn't notice me until I say hey as me and Lucy set up a game of pool. And then later, he makes a point of coming up to me to let me know he's leaving by giving me a hug and say, "It's good to see you, as always." (WTF!)
And why did he have to see me when I was all cute and drunk? Why not when I look all sexy and sh*t? (FML) Oh well, I refuse to give a f*ck. I'm sooo over it. Talk to you soon, bloggers.
Ciao Bella.

Why Can't We Be Adults?
So, bloggers. This weekend, Lexie and I went out to Bookends to hang with my girl, Gwen. We dressed cute on Friday night and Lord and behold, but who do I see? Why, none other than Jack Savage. Just a little 411....Jack is a guy that I have known for years and we've always joked around about him getting my digits only if he came up with a good pick-up line. (Let's just say, he wasn't very original) But one night while at Bookends (everything happens at Bookends, doesn't it?), I decided to drink more than usual and Jack was there and, as usual, one thing led to another and I actually decided to see where this might go with Jack if I keep the flirting going.
At first, I thought that there would be no follow-through, but then Jack got all up in my bubble and for a second, I thought that he was going to kiss me right there in the middle of the bar. But he surprised me and pulled me close and started slow dancing with me to the tune playing out of the jukebox in the corner of the front of the bar. Then there was the occassional grinding while we drank during the little breaks I was taking from the pool game I was playing with Lexie (which she found entertaining). But since I am a classy lady, obviously I do not get intimate in public. I'm okay with PDA but roaming hands belongs behind closed doors ;-)
Now back to our main program.....I show up to Bookends this past Friday with Lexie in tow to meet up with our friend, Liz, just to have fun and play pool. (Which I had a pretty good night at the table considering how absolutely horrific I am at it.) Anyway, while we were playing our second game, I look up and in walks Jack with a bunch of his buddies. Just to let you know, bloggers, I played it cool as ice. I kept having fun with my girls and when we eventually crossed paths, I smiled and said hey and even threw in our old pick-up line joke. And what did Jack do? He barely said 10 words to me and made sure he kept a 5 ft radius away from the rest of the night. (WTH?!)
Which now brings me to my question.....why can't we just be adults? What I mean is how difficult is it for a guy and a girl to make-out or hook-up or whatever and still just be friends? We only made-out once and now we can't even joke around like we use to? Seriously? When do we go from acting like immature teens to mature adults? Can men and women really do friends with benefits? Just some food for thought, bloggers.

Pre-Buddy Status
*I forgot to post this blog last weekend. Oopsies!*
Evening Bloggers! So, once again, I am reflecting on what a ridiculous week I have had. There has been fun (but still frustrating) texting between me and Devon, as well as occasional visits to him at work. Which by the by, I have NOT talked to him since Thursday. (just sayin'....) Then there was the huge ass bomb that my baby sister, Lexie, dropped on my brain late Thursday night. And When I say huge, I mean like the size of a blimp but with the force of a battering ram. (I'll tell you what she did in a minute and then you can go blow up at her on her blog!) Next we have my late night liason with Blaine the Blah. And to top it off, a potentially embarrassing situation with Devon that I was not physically involved in but can soooooo be traced back to me (hence me not having any form of communication with Devon until maybe Tuesday....or longer).
Now, you all know about the fun texting with Devon, so I'm not going to recap on that (plus a girl has to keep some stuff close to the vest). As for Lexie huge/ginormous/mind-blowing bomb......baby sister came over Thursday night while I was finishing up packing for my little weekend stint to see the fam back in the real LA. She slept with Alex....AGAIN?!?! (But at least a condom was involved this time, thank God!) Let's just say I had to repack my bag since over half of it's contents were thrown at Lexie after this bomb was released. I'm not going to go into details about it since this is Lexie's story to tell, not mine. But it took me quite a few days to blow over from this redonkulous bullsh*t.
So, I went to visit the fam with this whole situation pressing down upon my brain. (Obviously, I needed some alcohol and a worthwhile distraction.) Luckily, my distraction came in the form of good ole' Blaine the Blah. No sooner had I got settled at Sammie's place, my phone went off with a text from B. And what does it start off with? "Hey Sweetie" (Seriously? Ok, who are you and where is the real B?) But then I read the rest of the paragraph (yes, a paragraph....trust me. I was shocked, too!) Blaine had gone night fishing with a friend and his wonderful friend left him stranded out in the bayou. (Idiot) And since B didn't have a car, I had suddenly become his damsel-in-shining-sequins.(Well, really, I was wearing a yellow shirt dress with brown vest and ankle booties, but let's not be technical.)
To make a long story short, I got lost once; cussed out B for getting me lost; drank 2 bottles of hard cider while we talked; and hooked up with B in the backseat of my car. (originally we started out on the hood but I kept sliding down....not cool) We were out there from 2-5 am. Craziness.
My life is just too cray-cray. Well, talk to you later, bloggers. Ciao Bella

Buddies & Fist Bumps
Hey Bloggers...long time, no chat. Life has been super crazy lately (but when is it not?). So, dear bloggers, I have some sad news. For those of you who were rooting for Team Chloe & Devon, I'm afraid it's time to say bye-bye to any of those daydreams. I've visited Devon at work 3 times this week (yes...3 times) and on the second visit while I was talking to his manager about candles, Devon was leaving work early to help a friend move and he said bye to his manager and then he gave me a.........fist bump. (Yes, bloggers, you read that correctly. a fist bump)
Now to all you ladies out there who have never been fist bumped by a guy, let me just say that it is awkward and leaves you speechless as a girl with a crush because you have no idea what to do. That is the guys' way of mindf*cking you for days after it occurs. ( I mean, come on! Fist bump?! Who does a fist bump....especially to a girl??) And do you know what a fist bump symbolizes? It symbolizes a buddy, that's what. It's the equivalent of one of his guy friends coming up while we're talking and asking, "Hey Devon. Who's the girl?" Devon:"Oh, this is my buddy, Chloe." Buddy. I have now been forever cemented into Buddy Status with the guy I have the hots for. Great.....(grrrrr)
